Olive Tree Cooking School


This class is all about creating warn and hearty soups, braises and stews with side like polenta, mash and rice. These dishes are ideal for the cold winter months where comfort food is the choice of the day. The slow cooking methods are used where flavours are developed over a longer cooking time and using cheaper cuts of meat that may otherwise be unsuitable.
These dishes are easily cooked in larger quantities and suitable for freezing.
We will prepare and cook;
Moroccan chickpea and tomato soup
Braised Lamb Shanks with creamy polenta.
Beef Bourguignon with mash and greens.
Apple & Rhubarb Crumble
This class is more demonstration style with help from the students with different tasks. When finished we will serve the dishes and a complimentary glass of wine.
